How it works
How laser cleaning works
The laser sublimes the contaminant directly from the metal — no abrasives, no chemicals, no damage to the substrate.
Laser directed at the surface
A high-power laser beam is focused onto the layer of contamination. Short pulses or a continuous beam break down the contaminant at the molecular level.
Contaminant is sublimed
Rust, paint, oxide, and other contaminants vaporise instantly. The laser energy is absorbed by the contaminant, not the substrate.
Surface is clean
The result: the substrate is clean, undamaged, and ready for painting, welding, or further processing. No washing or post-treatment required.
